CCD Drive Electronics

Xcam CCD drive electronics is designed to be extremely flexible; this means that a CCD drive box will drive almost any CCD, SCD or EMCCD that is commercially available, with the appropriate headboard and cables. All drive parameters are configurable, and un-conventional read-out modes are possible with this system, making it the ideal drive system for detector test and characterisation , particularly where many different CCD types are to be tested using one drive system.

USB2REM system

USB2 interface to your PC, CDS cards are available as 1, 2 or 4 node, allowing you to drive up to 4 CCDs simultaneously, or chips with up to 4 output nodes.

This system will drive any CCD; the CCD must have a headboard that provides local de-coupling and pre-amplifiers etc. These can be provided by Xcam, or we can provide interface details for you to construct your own.
